Alloway Township is located in Salem County, New Jersey and has population of approximately 3,000.  The Township has forested wetlands, agricultural properties and the Alloway Creek watershed (75 square miles) which comprises 20% of Salem County. The Alloway Township School District serves students in public school for Pre-Kindergarten through eighth grade with an enrollment of 490 students. Students in public school for grades nine through twelve attend Woodstown High School in Woodstown.

Carneys Point Township is a Township in Salem County, New Jersey with a population of 7,684.  Students in public school for grades K through 12 attend the Penns Grove-Carneys Point Regional School District. Schools in the district are Lafayette-Pershing School for grades Pre-K to 1 (333 students), Field Street School for grades 1 - 3 (528), Paul W. Carleton School for grades 4 and 5 (324), Penns Grove Middle School for grades 6 - 8 (513) and Penns Grove High School grades 9 - 12 (622).

Elmer is a Borough in Salem County, New Jersey with a population of 1,384. The Elmer School serves public school students in kindergarten through fourth grade. The school also operates The Learning Center in Elmer School for infants through PreK-4. For grades 9-12, public school students attend Arthur P. Schalick High School, in Pittsgrove Township, as part of a sending/receiving relationship with the Pittsgrove Township School District.

Penns Grove is a Borough in Salem County, New Jersey with a population of 4,886. Students in public school for grades K through 12 attend the Penns Grove-Carneys Point Regional School District, together with students from Carneys Point Township. Carleton School for grades 4 and 5 (324), Penns Grove Middle School for grades 6 - 8 (513) and Penns Grove High School grades 9 - 12 (622).

Pennsville Township is a Township in Salem County, New Jersey. As of the United States 2000 Census, the township population was 13,194. The township is named for William Penn.  Students in public school for Kindergarten through 12th grade attend the Pennsville School District. Schools in the district are Central Park Elementary School (258), Penn Beach Elementary School (349) and Valley Park Elementary School (352) serving grades K-5; Pennsville Middle School (508) in grades 6 - 8 and Pennsville Memorial High School (614) in grades 9 - 12. 

Pilesgrove Township is a Township in Salem County, New Jersey and has a population of 3,923.  The Woodstown-Pilesgrove Regional School District serves nearly 1,600 students public school students from Woodstown and Pilesgrove Township in three schools. Schools in the district are Mary S. Shoemaker Elementary School for grades preK-4 (498 students), Woodstown Middle School for grades 5-8 (404) and Woodstown High School for grades 9-12 (696). Students from neighboring Alloway Township, Oldmans Township and Upper Pittsgrove Township attend the high school as part of sending/receiving relationships.

Pittsgrove Township is a Township in Salem County, New Jersey.  As of the United States 2000 Census, the township population was 8,893.  The Pittsgrove Township School District serves public school students in kindergarten through twelfth grade. Schools in the district  are Norma Elementary School for Preschool-K (189 students), Olivet Elementary School for grades 1-4 (456), Pittsgrove Township Middle School for grades 5-8 (634) and A.P. Schalick High School for grades 9-12 (676). Students from Elmer attend the district's high school as part of a sending/receiving relationship.

Salem is a City in Salem County, New Jersey. As of the United States 2000 Census, the city population was 5,857. It is the county seat of Salem County. The name Salem is related to the Hebrew word shalom, meaning peace. Salem is one of the oldest cities in America dating back to 1693.  The Salem City School District serves public school students in kindergarten through twelfth grade. The district is one of 31 Abbott Districts statewide. Schools in the district are John Fenwick School for PreK-2, Salem Middle School for grades 3-8 and Salem High School for grades 9-12.  Public school students from Elsinboro, Lower Alloways Creek Township, Mannington Township and Quinton Township attend the district's high school for grades 9-12 as part of sending/receiving relationships.

Woodstown is a Borough in Salem County, New Jersey. As of the United States 2000 Census, the borough population was 3,136.  The Woodstown-Pilesgrove Regional School District serves over 1,600 students public school students from Woodstown and Pilesgrove Township in three schools. Schools in the district are Mary S. Shoemaker Elementary School for grades preK-4 (498 students), Woodstown Middle School for grades 5-8 (404) and Woodstown High School for grades 9-12 (696).
